New development kit to remove heavy lifting for game studios
Mobile-first games developer OneTouch has announced the launch of The Wrapper, a new game development kit developed in partnership with the company’s biggest distributor, Hub88.
Designed to support games creation and to accelerate speed to market, The Wrapper provides companies with a set of tools to assemble content, with a built-in framework and range of features to enrich the player experience.
The innovative product removes the heavy lifting for studios when they are building games and is adaptable for all certification requirements and also offers access to comprehensive game reporting and full marketing support.
For The Wrapper, OneTouch has also designed an RGS platform and will be working with a host of studio partners during the development process, while Hub88 acts as the distributor and integrates new releases, offering access to over 100 operators.
The new release functions by supporting all generic features of a title, allowing developers to be creative and innovative without the need to devise basic features, making the process more efficient and enabling launch to market quicker.
By utilising this advanced offering, studios can save resources on development, bug fixes and quality assurance, whilst also offering the confidence that games can pass certification without any issues.
The first title to use the kit was OneTouch’s latest release Grand Heist Feature Buy, which is reporting impressive engagement figures in a short amount of time, showcasing the strength of the new product.
An updated version of The Wrapper will arrive in the first quarter of 2023, giving partners a fully-stacked kit, where they can develop games independently.
